Tracy Joshua

Tracy Joshua has been Vice President, Procurement Indirect, since 2014. She is also a member of the North American leadership team where she leads Strategic Sourcing efforts.  In her role, she is also responsible for procuring goods and services across the organization, estimated at $2.6 Billion. During her tenure and leadership, the Indirect team has consistently delivered year over year savings to the overall business.  In 2016, she received the K Values award for her internal and external Diversity and Inclusion efforts.

Prior to joining Kellogg, Ms. Joshua served in public service as the Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer for Detroit Public Schools (DPS) where she led and implemented turnaround strategies.  She was also a key member of the Detroit Turnaround team, credited with removing DPS from high-risk status by the US Government and the State of Michigan.

Prior to that, she served as an Executive Director in the pharmaceutical and automotive industries where she led several supply chain operations including Procurement (both direct and indirect), Logistics, Operations and Lean Manufacturing.  In addition, she has also led several start-up operations in Europe, China and South America.

Ms. Joshua serves as a board member of City Year Detroit, ProcureCon Advisory Board, Michigan State University Multicultural Business Board, Great Lakes Women Business Enterprise, Canadian Aboriginal & Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) and Kellogg’s 25 Year Fund.

Ms. Joshua received a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Organizational Development and Labor Relations from Michigan State University. She holds a second Master’s degree from Georgia Tech University in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on Global Supply Chains. She completed her Doctorate of Management degree from Walsh College with a focus on Leadership.

Ms. Joshua is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Thunderbird International School of Management.  She also received training in Quality/Statistical Process Control, Lean and she holds a Six Sigma Green Belt.  As a leader, she was selected and trained by General Motors as a Diversity coach. In March 2017, Ms. Joshua was the keynote speaker at the Procurement Leaders American Congress.
